Gratis. <\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">En julio de 1976, Isidoro Valc\u00e1rcel Medina (Murcia, 1937) present\u00f3 en Buenos Aires una exposici\u00f3n en el Centro de Arte y Comunicaci\u00f3n (CAYC) invitado por Jorge Glusberg. Bajo el t\u00edtulo \u201cPr\u00e1cticas personales de actuaci\u00f3n art\u00edstica, desde Madrid a Buenos Aires\u201d, present\u00f3 dos piezas que cuestionaban la relaci\u00f3n entre la realidad y su representaci\u00f3n. Esta exposici\u00f3n tuvo lugar meses despu\u00e9s del golpe de Estado que dio inicio a la dictadura c\u00edvico-militar en Argentina, y form\u00f3 parte de un recorrido que lo llev\u00f3 tambi\u00e9n a Asunci\u00f3n, Montevideo y San Pablo. Cincuenta a\u00f1os despu\u00e9s, Isidoro Valc\u00e1rcel Medina regresa a Buenos Aires con una nueva obra concebida espec\u00edficamente para esta ocasi\u00f3n, traslad\u00e1ndose luego a Rosario.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">El transcurrir propone una reflexi\u00f3n sobre el tiempo como experiencia, estructura y medida. Lejos de la conmemoraci\u00f3n o la retrospectiva, el proyecto presenta una obra nueva que toma como punto de partida el medio siglo de distancia entre 1976 y 2026, mostrada aqu\u00ed junto al dossier original que realiz\u00f3 tras su viaje.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Junto a esta pieza central, se presentan otras que ponen su acento en el paso del tiempo, como material mismo del pensamiento y de la acci\u00f3n. M\u00e1s que fijar acontecimientos, estos proyectos hacen visible su duraci\u00f3n, transformaciones y las relaciones que establecen con el presente. El paso del tiempo no es una circunstancia externa a la obra, sino la condici\u00f3n que la produce, la modifica y, en \u00faltima instancia, le otorga sentido.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Figura clave del arte conceptual, Valc\u00e1rcel Medina ha desarrollado desde los a\u00f1os sesenta una pr\u00e1ctica centrada en el lenguaje, la acci\u00f3n y la econom\u00eda de medios. Su trabajo desplaza el \u00e9nfasis del objeto hacia el proceso y la idea, entendiendo la exposici\u00f3n como un espacio de pensamiento. Al centrarse en la creaci\u00f3n de situaciones, intervenciones, acciones o proyectos, trasciende el cometido del objeto art\u00edstico, trayendo a la luz su actitud comprometida y alejada de los aspectos comerciales del arte.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Es posiblemente uno de los artistas espa\u00f1oles m\u00e1s relevantes, cuya influencia se puede rastrear en varias generaciones posteriores.
